We are proud to announce the release of a safety-focused educational video series with Aylo’s (Pornhub’s parent company) partner, The Cupcake Girls. The series, Safety Training With The Cupcake Girls, aims to equip content creators with the tools needed to safely work online. Whether you are new to the model community and looking for guidance or a seasoned talent auditing your work practices, a safety-refresh is always a good idea!

Drawing on The Cupcake Girl’s expertise in providing support, resources, and service referrals to people in the sex industry, and working towards harm reduction in the community, the video topics were selected based on creator feedback to address the most urgent needs. These videos aim to equip performers with essential knowledge about working in the industry, while prioritizing safety and well-being.

Industry veterans Cherie DeVille and Sofia Rose host the first two topics in the series, covering important safety considerations that come with content creation. In the video, “How To Safely Shoot Your Own Content,” Cherie DeVille guides you on how to create content in a fully informed way, as she focuses on testing, consent, and online safety. In her video, Sofia Rose gives you the tools to decide whether self-representation or working with a talent agency is the best career move in “Tips For Working With Talent Agencies.”

"At Aylo, trust and safety is at the core of everything we do," said Alex Kekesi, VP Brand and Community, Pornhub. “The Cupcake Girls have built a remarkable legacy of advocacy and harm reduction, and this partnership strengthens our shared commitment to sex workers' well-being. As the industry evolves, partnerships like these are essential—a lifeline for empowering performers, promoting informed decision-making, and ensuring their safety.”

"Since 2018 when FOSTA-SESTA passed, it has continued endangering lives, creating an urgent on-going need for real support and resources," said Amy-Marie Merrell, Co-Executive Director, The Cupcake Girls.Performers deserve the tools to make informed decisions about their work, and this series speaks directly to the concerns we hear from the community. Partnering with Aylo on this initiative allows us to expand access to critical information and reinforce our commitment to the well-being of sex workers.”
